As announced few days ago, here's my gallery of finished small beauties:

Nieuport 24bis '8', Salonika front 1917:
Both together:
And, here's my
escadrille du Nieuport de chasse Serbe
, now I only miss 27

Lovely little ones! These nice photos of your great models remind me of Polish Nupes. However, you Serbs had it easier than us, you did not need to repaint French markings

That's a gorgeous pair of Nieuports, Zoran. I have the Karaya 1/48 scale kit of the 24 in Miodrag Tomic's markings in my stash and now you've motivated me to get it started.
Cheers,
Bud

Thank You all for commenting

, during the war Serbian squadrons were actually part of French AF, therefore markings were also pertained. Right before the breakthrough of the Salonika front some Serbian planes received new Serbian roundels (
http://fotkica.com/phpbb/uploadsN/21414_1017267451_ASF_oznake_01_Srpska_kokarda.gif
). After the war we went through few changes (as a country also) before adopting Yugoslavia for a name, and roundels with "Kosovo cross" (

). Therefore all our markings were repainted few times after 1918
Bud
, go with it, at least Serbian flag adds something to usual French marking. I'm here to give you some details, if needed

Thanks for the interesting explanations, Profa. It seems you had a similar way with your markings. Polish ones also evolved during the post-war years until they were finally set as red-white checkboards with a white-red rim.
