Hello Adam:
Congratulations on the birth of your grandson. Good luck with the Nie 17 when you get a chance to get to it.

Congratulations on the birth of your grandson, Adam! I think you
will enjoy the Nieuport 17. It lends itself to good detailing possibilities,
but watch the decals. They can be, lets say "challenging".
I wish you happy times with both new additions, my friend.
Cheers,
Ernie

My friends thank you very much for yours good wishes.
Now my grandson Alexander (for me, of course, Alexander the Great
) is already at home together with her older sister.
I still not have much time to build my Fokker. At the end of May I will change the flat. There will be there my big and wonderful workshop.
The engine is already finished.
Now I'm working on rigging of the undercarriage.
Because June 7th will be an modelers exhibition in Warsaw so every free moment I spend with Fokker and I rather will not have the time to describe work on my model, I really want to finish it and show on this exhibition.
I'm taking pictures and I'll show it rather when the model will be finished. I swear.
Adam.

The engine is spot on. Very well done with a beautiful and very convincing way of painting. I hope that detailing the undercarriage will be finished before you change your flat.

Finally I have some time to complete the description of the struggles with my model.
As I wrote I suspended the story, because I wanted to finish a model for an exhibition in Warsaw.
Successful, the model has landed at the exhibition.
In such WNW company.
Now I go back to the interrupted thread.
Spandau was made from WNW PE set.
Tail skid.
Undercarriage without rigging.
Bottom of the fuselage.
Undercarriage with rigging.
To match the engine cover to the resin Oberursel UI was needed milling, the effect below.
The wings were mounted now time for rigging.
As I wrote earlier, I loved the speedometer.
Now few photos of the finished model.
At the end I wanted to boast that my two Fokkers, Dr.I and E.II were invited to an exhibition of 100 anniversary of the outbreak of the Great War at the Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw.
Me and my models.
My models will return to me until May 2015.
Adam.
