Health came back. Thank you for your opinions of my friends.
Time for another report from construction of my Fokker.
Halves the fuselage are already glued.



Outputs wires from fuselage are from HGW PE



Fuselage is ready for paingting.





All parts are waiting for Mr. "surfacer".





After surfacer, here is also visible smaller brother. I'm planning  test painting on it, to see result of shading.

Initially I was going to paint translucent lower surfaces of the wings because the ribs are black.

accidentally pressed the "POST"  and the unfinished thread here appeared. 

Several of my colleagues having looked this painting, advised me to carefully looked at picture. In their view, the wings are opaque. Sadly they were right. Big brother will be the same painted on the top and bottom.

So big brother is completely painted the same.



Now the big challenge ahead of me, I start doing the engine, it will be a resin Taurus. I did not make the engine with such a large number of details.

Hi Adam,


 The engine is not to bad to put together just take your time and be care full when you cut out the rocker arms . they break very easy .  I used 5 min epoxy on mine . Ca does not give you time to work on the parts  To fit the engine in the cowling the cowling will need to be thinned . The plane is looking great !

Willy thank you for the advice, unfortunately three rocker arms was broke up. I asked Lukasz from Taurus Models for a new one. After few days they are in my workshop.
Now the relation from what I did.
The engine body, cylinders and pushrods was painted the "Super Iron" Mr. Color,  pushers bushes was painted "Super Gold" for these paints do not need primer.
To get the effect of superheated metal cylinders was painted with a thin layer of "Gun Blue Reflection" from a set of Guns & Weapons Lifecolor.
It looks like this.

Then all was painted with a thin layer of "Burnt Brown" from a set of Tensocrom Lifecolor.

Now it is time to mount rocker arms. Initially all went well but the last three arms was broken, as I wrote at the beginning.





Today I painted these new rockers, soon they will be fixed on place.
