Academy Sopwith Camel

Hello

Well here goes...my first attempt at scratch building a replacement seat for the Camel.

Kit seat included for comparison.

Comments welcome.

Hello all

Thanks for the positive comments.

I've attached a ( blurred, sorry!) picture of the seat pre-paint.

Base was 1mm plastic card as was the cushion, frame copper wire with the weave nylon fishing line...fiddly but fun!

That is amazing work, Allan!  When I build my Camel I will be using your
build as a guide.  I can't get over how good the weaving came out.  Great job!
