Well, I still haven't completed much since restarting the hobby - still buying essential tools etc - but I do have a few pics of some old models that might not be too shabby to add to the party.

Not sure how well the pics will turn out as its my first attempt to upload, so please bear with me if they are miniscule!

This is an ancient Smer or Merit 1/48 Tripe that I hacked about, probably 30 years ago!!! It won a big 1/24 Harrier prize from Airfix at the Scottish Nats way back then, (and I remember thinking as I was thanking them for it, that I wished manufacturers did larger scale biplanes - how things have changed.)
This was also before I discovered weathering etc, so it's far too clean to be nose-down in a field. (Actually nose-down in a bunch of faggots (!) as the illustration in the book I took it from captioned it!!!
Oh well, fingers crossed, that the pics work .....

Very cool indeed. I like the souvenir hunter gone nuts look to it.

That is an Awesome Old Build! The scratch wing cellules and fuselage framing are  incredible! what can be seen of the interior looks outstanding also, especially knowing this was an Old Merit kit! I am really looking forward to seeing what you do with WNW kits  ;)

Thanks Rag & FB - might go to town with the razor saw on a Roden Tripe, but It'd be sacrilege to do it to a WNW kit I think!

This is my first model. I built this kit from Roden (1:32) few years ago. It's a quiet simple model to begin.

A great model!
Is the raben decal option among those offered by Roden OOB?
