Thanks for the kind words, that was done almost 30 years ago. It was just returned to me for repairs by its owner whose grandson violated the ..."touch only with your eyes"... rule; so I had a chance to take some good pictures of it after repairs.

Thanks Ernie, as always your comments are appreciated. The benefit of the oils to me is certainly the drying time but also that I can work them wet over an acrylic finish. This allows a lot of blending, adding and removing of pigment to make a specific pattern etc. all without worrying that things are drying or getting too thick. As I said in my build review it also is easy to wipe off once or twice if you aren't satisfied with initial results

I would like to show my Fokker Dr.1. (Roden)
It is my first model in 1:32 scale.
To paint crosses I used masks fist time, for checker I myself made the mask.

My friends thank you very much for the nice reviews.
Ernie I painted streaks of paint Livecolor, and the method was similar to the painting of real Fokker. The wide flat brush dipped in slightly diluted paint.

Nicely done Adam, the masked markings are perfect and the streaking really catches the eye. Nice work and a very attractive Model.

My first WW I build, from the early 90s. DML/Dragon's 1/48 kit. I guessed at the upper wing cross fields based on the photo where you can see the ailerons are overpainted. Worse for the wear now; I used Testor's dullcote, which has yellowed badly over the years. On the list to be replaced with the Eduard version.
