Beautiful Build Petrov, great colour scheme and the interior is a joy to view.  I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a deal on this Kit, have the Pheon Sheet and a "plan" however it's a future project. :-\
Cheers,
Lance

Are you thinking of a D.IV conversion Lance?  That'sbeen in the back recesses of my mind for a while, but haven't figured out how to do it yet.  I should just build the D.III first!

Beautiful scheme Petrov!  ;D. Apologies for the brief thread detour.  :o

Cheers,

Bob

Bob,
If I can locate a Kit for a reasonable price I'm thinking like you..........a simple DIII.

Lance

Roden have them advertised at the moment for $45.00 which is a really good price, naturally shipping has to be added. Go to   http://rodenkits.com

Sorry Petrov for jumping in on your beautiful build.

All of the rigging is set and prepped so I can attach the top wing - hopefully tomorrow.

Also armed it up and put the windshield on. Wow the close up makes it look rough and dusty but ah well!

Great progress, Petrov! A really attractive aeroplane.  I love the
paint scheme. The "business end" looks super. Well done!

Thanks again gents for the encouragement!

Well, I will not be able to finish this one in 2013 but I am getting there. We have top wing established! The fit of this was not good - I think I had a bit of a twist or warp in the lower wing though it looked to the eye ok - it was a bit of a trial thus getting things more or less square....

Wow, she looks great with the upper wing in place, Petrov.
I am anxious to see how you do the rigging.

Cheers,
Ernie :)
