Roden SPAD S.VII w/skis due in 2014
« on: December 05, 2013, 04:05:47 AM »
Always fun to read the descriptions on the Hobby Search site, apparently this SPAD doubled as a potato. Not certain whether this is news, but it's the first I've seen of it:

Seems to be available now, directly from Roden via eBay.

Apparently, the Japanese are the only ones with intelligence regarding the potato usage.
Cheers,
Bud

Perhaps a Japanese adaptation of The Wizard Of Oz had ski-equipped SPAD VIIs bombarding Dorothy and her motley band with potatoes, since the whole flying monkey thing would seem so very unlikely.  ;D

Thanks for the tip on Roden's eBay store!

Would that explain the 1 Ding Vickers too? Does that mean it stopped after it shot the prop off?

Obviously, with the SPUD reference, they meant it "fries".
