1/35 Takom St. Chamond
« on: November 30, 2013, 09:44:29 AM »
Anyone else out there excited about this new release? ;D  Fills a HUGE gap in WWI armor, and makes me glad I purchased and held the original Commander's Models Schneider CA 1, as they will look fabulous displayed side by side. . .

I have to say I'm a bit tempted by that new 1/16 little French WW1 tank I've seen. Can't remember the type.

It's the Renault FT, and I'd be tempted to buy if it were the version w/ the octagonal riveted turret.

The Meng 1/35th FT-17 is a real gem I know I'm building one. The St Chamond doesn't tempt me unfortunately though.

Never too old to learn sumfink noo

The St. Chamond  will appeal to many, but not all WWI armor modelers, but it certainly does fill a niche in that category. I'll need to see one to make up my mind.
