Artwork of Ronnie Bar
« on: November 23, 2013, 07:01:23 AM »
Ronnie is one the best illustrators of WWI aircraft I have seen (and other periods too), I love his artwork for the WNW kits. He also sells limited edition profile artwork from his website on Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/RONNY-BAR-Aircraft-Profiles/166538664131

He had a few prints for sale at Classic Fighters airshow at Omaka earlier this year and I picked up this lovely BE2c profile for NZ$30. I recently had it framed (birthday present from my mother):

I added the watermark to protect Ronnie's copyright - its not on the print.

Here is a profile of Oswald Boelcke's Albatross D.II, same as TVAL's new reproduction (click to view the images fullsize)

Fantastic work! Would make a great Christmas present for the modeller who has (nearly) everything

Cheers
James

A talented profile artist and a heckuva nice guy to boot!  ;)
