It's a shame you won't be able to fly it when it's done.

You sure? ;) ;D
Really amazing workmanship.  Such fun watching the aeroplane take shape.
Neat how you made the firewall, Dan.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks guys, and OK, I'm going to tell the truth: I DO MY BEST!
But I'm really happy to your enjoyment... It's important for me.

Well, today sit down!
Seat supports, and of course the seat...

By the way, a question.
I'm talking to specialists...
The seat, what sort of for an early version?
This one, seen on replica:

Or?

The second way is my favorite, but?
Thank you for your answers!

Dan.

Dan, Looking Better with each update which is almost impossible! As for the seat, the replica is correct for any war period SE and probably all of them. JMHO,

i have never seen a seat like the drawing in a se5a. only style like above. the seatbelt/harness is a late sutton type(post war) it should be the wider lap belts.this is fantastic work, i am enjoying watching it unfold.

As already stated, the replica has the correct style of seat for the SE.5a, I too have never seen the seat like in the cut-a-way drawing in an Se.5a.
