Thank you gentlemen, I do my best!
Your pleasure is mine...

Today, leather. Real one...
Remember again, we are in 1/8 scale!

"How to"? Not really difficult. Wet, really wet leather, forms and a night in a vice...

I forgot to show you the skid and his wiring:

Thanks for looking...
Dan.

Beautiful work on the leather Dan, and the tail skid looks amazing.

Dan, I'm lost in admiration for this work. What will you do with the model when you finish it? Do you have display area large enough? What do you have lined up next?

Best wishes
Nigel

Hi gentlemen!

Thanks Des, kind words from a specialist, you know...
To Nigel, I plan to instal this bird on a wall! The best way for me. What next?
A vintage french motorbike, a Terrot 350 or 500 in 1/5, fully scratch built, as my Talbot (1/8 scale).

Well, today plywood:

First step:

And cutting...

Cheers, Dan.

Thanks Dan

Be sure to provide us with some sort of link so that we can follow your build of a Terrot when you start it.

Best wishes

Dan, this is a master piece in the makings. If you ever need a place to display it (considering if it's to big for your shelf) I can find a good spot for it here...in my man cave  :P j/k

Great work brother...great work indeed!!

What kind of plywood did you use for the turtleneck turtledeck? It looks very good in scale.

Hi gentlemen!

To Lindsay, 0,4 mm plywood, really a pleasure to work with...

Today, turtleneck_thanks LT..._ closed. An some leather, again:

Work In Progress...

How to?

Leather glued on an electric wire, water, and a night to drying...

Then, the wire core is removed.

And tears, sweat, anxiety but the pleasure of a result not so bad...

Thanks for looking, Dan.
