She ended up looking absolutely brilliant Guy, everything about this model is outstanding, the wood, the decals, the overall finish and the figure, all extremely impressive work, congratulations on presenting us with a top class model.

Congratulations my friend she's absolutely beautiful. First Class project from the beginning to the end. I'm still totally impressed those tiny nailheads. Well Done!

Guy,
Beautifully planned, beautifully done, and beautifully presented. This is in the "Top Ten" I've seen here, and you have really hit the ball out of the park on this Build. Well done, and compliments on your truly Master Level skills, how do you plan to out-do this one?
Cheers,
Lance

Wow, Guy! Jaw droppingly, breathtakingly gorgeous! She'll draw a lot of attention at Telford.
Cheers,
Bud

Thank you,
Thats very kind..
I'm looking forward to Telford
can't wait! The problem with taking so long on a build is you really know every fault. All those fingerprints and blobs of glue! There's one thing taking selected photos and another having someone pore over it with a magnifying glass!
I've said before, but what a great forum this is - I've learnt so much and it's a great incentive to try your best with everyone peering at it at every stage of the build!
I'm going to wait and get a model at Telford for the next project. I'm hoping to get inspired by something I see there. I'm tempted to have an interlude from WW1 just to keep things fresh - but I find nothing really matches the Wingnut kits..
Thanks again for all the encouragement along the way..
Regards
Guy

Beautiful. The combination of wood and losenge linen is very appealing! Many thanks for sharing.

Hello Guy,
This is a magnificent build and plane. The way you repaired the little accident shows that you are a great modeller. I like very much your pictures too. Many many congratulations. It's a masterpiece.

Fantastic completion Guy, watched with vested interest all the way through ... Artsy pic's are pretty cool too.
I can only hope to get even a little bit close to what you're achieving.
Bloody well done that man!
