Fokker D.VII (Fok), Gotthard Sachsenberg, Wingnut Wings 1/32
« on: November 02, 2013, 11:17:48 PM »
Hello!

I want to introduce my currently finished Fokker D.VII. It´s the plane of Leutnant zur See Gotthard Sachsenberg of the Marine Feldjagdgruppe 1 (MFJGr 1) in octobre 1918. Sachsenberg claimed 31 confirmed victories during the Great War.

The figures are painted by myself (mechanic from Kellerkind Miniaturen) and by Dave Maddox (Sachsenberg from Hecker&Goros) cause I had no luck with the dark blue marine uniform. Many many thanks for this Dave!

Really gorgeous D.VII, Soren!  I love that scheme.  Your vignette and photography are brilliant.
Cheers,
Bud

Hello Soren:

Well done.  The DVII is a challenging kit to be sure and you have done an outstanding job with it  All those decals and they appear to be part of the paint scheme.  I like the vignette with the figures.  I am wondering if the prop is wood or if you painted it.

Best
