Congratulations on your well deserved recognition.  I like your nickname.  My grand dad flew B-24s with the 44th BG (the rivals to the 93rd as the first B-24 group in the Mighty Eighth) as a top turret gunner/flight engineer and my mother's neighbor in Spanish Fork, UT was Col Walter Stewart (led the 93rd BG over the Columbia Aquila Romana refinery at Ploesti after Col. Addison E. Baker's plane was shot down).  Did your dad fly that raid with the 93rd or did he arrive later on in WWII?  FYSA, BYU put together a pretty good documentary on the 93rd's part in that raid called "A Wing and a Prayer".  You might want to look into it.  Anyway, congrats again and looking forward to seeing more of your work.  Cheers!
