Presenting Roden's 1/32 Nieuport 27 as N.8655, "Old Doc Yak," personal aircraft of Lt. Quentin Roosevelt, USAS, 3rd Aviation Instruction Center, Issoudun, France, March-May 1918:

I hope you enjoy the photos.  This was an enjoyable build, but after the scratch built Lloyd and the seat-of-the-pants experience with this one, I'm looking forward to a WNW kit!  ;)

Cheers,

Bob

Outstanding Bob! The epitome of "clean" and a great choice in markings. You should be real proud of this one.

Fantastic build and a very interesting colour scheme and markings. Makes a real change from the rather drab PC 10 of contemporary RFC machines.

So much more satisfying when the scheme means something to you, eh? Great looking build, Bob.

A very unusual color, it looks very attractive!
Or that is wrong with the landing gear - either too short rack, or wider than the distance between the wheels.
