WNW Fokker E III early
« on: October 17, 2013, 04:14:22 AM »
Hi everybody,

here are some pics of my Fokker E.II 69/15 Kurt von Crailsheim. I have finished the kit in July and i think its time to post some pics here. Thanks to everybody who gave my support with comments and feedback. The build log can be found here: http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=1567.0

P.S.: Right now I am off topic for a while building a 1/32 P 51D.

Any comments are welcome,

Cheers, Dirk

Beautifully made model.
I really like the soft weathering, but the wheels seem to me to be strong.
Greetings and I wish the next successful model !

What a beauty Dirk! I'm very envious. Each time I see a WnW model built to this standard I want to have a go myself. Maybe the only solution to buying them all would be to go without eating for a few months.

Best wishes
Nigel

Absolutely stunning, Dirk!  Truly flawless in every way.  I love the weathering and the metal panels in particular.  Brilliant work.

I have gone over the photos of the Eindecker a few times now, Dirk, and just have
to shake my head at the level of detail!  Like Steven, I think I will have to
revisit your build log. Wow!  When you finish with that pesky Mustang I look forward
to another jewel here. ;) ;D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Nicely done and the subtle weathering is just right.
