Hi Ian, great update. You're doing wonders in that small model.

For the pc12 look apart from the misterkit you have some other colors close to that.

From humbrol you have Matt Dark Earth 29, but could be a little dark for scale purpose, so have a look to Brick Red 70, if you like Vallejo you may have a look at Chocolate Brown 872 or Orange Brown 981 or with Tamiya Flat Earth XF52.

So have a look on those and see wich best fits the model.

For the blue paint you may go Misterkit or Humbrol Aircrat Blue 65 (maybe to dark?) or Duck Egg Blue 23 (imho i fing it quite good), from Vallejo you have Sky Blue 961 wich i find a little to dark (but again this is me

and from Tamiya you have XF23 Light Blue.

I'm affraid that i contributed only to confuse you... or maibe not. Just want you to see what you have around.

I've bought Tamiya NATO Brown and Pollyscale Italian Camo Brown (both are more on the red side of brown) and I'll see if either of those work, if not, I'll try some of your suggestions.

I've done a little more on this one:
The front of the cockpit opening has been filed out and replaced with a piece of .020" rod to correct the shape, and I've added the rib detail on the wings. I'm not sure how effective this has been - I'm waiting to finish the wings on my Muromets build so I can have one big primer session when I'll see how it looks and whether any more work is needed there. I've also done some work on tidying up the front end and wing/fuselage joints. Again, the primer will show how well I've managed this....

Oh gee how I like the lines of this little bird! BTW I`ve found an another producer of PC10 and PC12 - it`s Agama from Czech Republic I cannot say anything about their accuaracy or quality though, the only product I use is the set of Decal solutions and I think they`re great.

Well, I've finally got back to his one. All the wing detailing I'd added previously has been removed and the wings thinned even further. I'm not going to add any rib detail, as looking at the photos available it appears that the fabric was very tight and there is very little sag between the ribs. It would be virtually unnoticable in this scale so I will mask off the ribs and highlight them with a little black pastel. I got the engine and cowling on today, and finally got around to adding some colour. The PC12 (or Middle East red/brown, whichever it is supposed to be...) is Tamiya NATO Brown, the blue is simply a mix of Tamiya blue and white.

I finally got around to adding the decals, masking off the ribs and adding the highlighting. A few other odds and ends including finishing the seatbelts and making the undercarriage legs have also been accomplished.
I was not too pleased (understatement) when I noticed, AFTER sealing the rib highlights, that I'd managed to put a thumbprint on the upper left roundal! Not quite used to the pastels yet I guess! Still, nothing to be done now, it's there and will have to stay!

Looking as though I'm finally approaching the home stretch now!

The shading is awesome! Beautiful work. As for the fingerprint at least it is not noticeable in the photos
