Thanks, Rick and Des.

The works are going on. I have painted and weathered the floats (this will be visible in some photos later). Then the inverted V struts were attached to them, what allowed me to dry-fit them to the wings. It seems, that the floats geometry is finally satisfying. However the struts that join the floats sides to the fuselage point just at the root of the wings leading edge are too short. I will have to make new ones, some 2 mm longer.
Well, it is defnitely not a WNW kit. You may now easily guess what brand will be my next model  ;)

It looks great wuth the floats Przemol, pity about the struts being a little short though but I can imagine it will be something you will fix in no time.

There is no way to lengthen the existing ones, the angle between the legs is wrong. I will have to make a new pair. So it will take some time, three stages, at least. But this is our hobby, isn't it?

Gorgeous work, Prez!  Sorry about the struts, but I know your solution will be brilliant.
Cheers,
Bud

I agree 100% with Bud, I know you will overcome any issues you have encountered with the struts!

Hi Prez,

Lovely magnificent build. You make it so difficult to find another word to express my admiration of your skills and that of so many others. It's going to be a beauty again.

Kind regards
Patrick

1/32 Omega?  ;D

In sure the kit is a pig, but you're making it look easy!

It's going to be a beautiful model of a very interesting subject. That's the only drawback to Wingnuts - the competition table at Telford was awash with Wingnuts and not much else..

Keep up the good work!

Thank you, everybody for your kind words.

The production of new V-s went quicker than I thought. And the old ones did not go to the waste bin - I have cut them in twos and made of them the remaining legs. The rigging was also going smooth. The lines between the floats were done with a help of four Bob's eyelets. The remaining ones went through the wing, the holes were then filled with the paint pigment and then sanded flush. The holes for interplane rigging were drilled, the wing upper side airbrushed with the blue-grey and now it is ready for shading. I cannot contain myself with the joy, that I have overcome this stage. I almost feel, the struts and upper wing will go easily (am I too optimistic???)

Excellent work with the struts Przemol, she looks wonderful sitting on the floats and I'm sure that you will handle the top wing with ease  ;)  :) it's hard to believe that this is a 1:72 scale model, incredible work in a small scale.

Beautiful job Prez,
I hadn't thought about the inter-float rigging before. I do all mine by drilling and threading so I guess I'll have to rethink a little when I get to the floatplanes in my stash!

Hello Przemol

This is lovely work on a subject I hadn't really seen much of before; it's hard to believe that you're working in 1/72 scale.

Best wishes
Nigel

Great work Przemol!  She looks magnificent.  :D  What the others have said +.  Very well done.  The thought of attaching floats makes me shudder!  ;)

Bob

It looks very nice Prezmol.

The model looks bigger and it's already a great sight... another model that excels your skills. Fine 1/72 modeling!

Cheers
