Gotha WD-13 1/16 Scratch...!
« on: September 15, 2013, 10:47:08 PM »
Here is my current project close to finish ... This model is subject to a diorama for a museum and I could not  object to my friend request. There were a lot of unknown details at the start including drawings. All I had is a bunch of good phtotos of Turkish Navy plane. So I started by drawing and conventional building tecnics rooled on and all parts made . I wish to write all details after complete. Here are some photos. Please feel free for any comments. There must be someone can tell what is wrong or what should be :)
Happy modelling
Ozkan

Lovely! That's excellent work, and an interesting subject.
The museum is very fortunate - can you tell us where it is?
And please show us pics of the finished diorama :)

That is some model. As for what is wrong with it I am not competent to comment, but I can say that there is a great deal that is very good indeed. Please post how you did it and put up photos of the complete diorama - that would be well worth seeing.

Thank you very much for kind comments. Sure I will share all process and result at the end. Museum will be open in Istanbul/Turkey  in November I hope :)  My old friend Nejat Cuhadaroglu  decided to open a museum to share all his collection of real materials, models and dioramas collecting and making over 20 years... As a short information I add two links from my web page about contents of museum. He called his museum as HISART (Historical Arts or His Arts). He converted  their holding management building to museum untill a may find a more suitable place as museum.

Very impressive model Ozkan, and it is quite large as well, looking forward to seeing the plane in a diorama setting. The links to the museum look very interesting, there are some beautiful dioramas and fantastic modeling.
