Finally made a start.. I always have a go at the wood areas first - for the drying time required, then I can put that to one side and have a bash at the engine.
I've masked the recesses here - just to stop them clogging up with paint as I seem to remember the fit tolerance here is fairly critical:

How do other people fill those pesky sink holes - there are loads on the internal structure of this kit! I normally superglue, then sand, but these are tricky to get at and I was worried about making more of a mess by sanding/scraping.. So I tried filling the holes with a few layers of Klear - it seems to have worked - they've almost disappeared (and certainly won't be visible once the fuse is closed up)
