The 2013 IPMS nationals in Loveland, CO had over 2534 model entries making it the largest of the "western" located events.
The Michael L Fritz Award winner this year was a Collection of Twenty One -1/48 scale Nieuports by Joe LoMusio of Fullerton, CA. This award is chosen by the previous winners ( whose entries are of course ineligible)of the MLF who were on hand (9 this year). A superb display and top quality workmanship had it surpass all of the 1/32 WNW kits and the 20+ 1/48 single entries. In addition to the MLF it also won 1st in the Single Person Collection category and the Judges Best Overall Miscellaneous Entry.
