Saw these postcards while browsing the web. The images are large so do click on them to open

Beautiful stuff, Jamo.  Thanks for posting.  Makes me want to try my hand at armor, as if I didn't have enough models to build already.
Cheers,
Bud

Now ya gone and done it Bud! I'll be on you like white on rice until you buckle under and actually build one.  ;D

And here's the perfect kit for you. Meng produces outstanding kits and this one is due to be released anytime now as it's on pre-sale at Lucky Models. It's also in 1:35 scale so could sneak by in a diorama with one of those WnW kits you're sitting on.  ;D

Cheers,

Chris

You can have it good; You can have it fast; you can have it cheap. Pick any two, but all three are impossible.

I've got an original "RAF" type lorry chassis, if anyone needs photos or measurements.  It's the heavy tender.  It weighs 4 tons and carries another 3.  I have seen photos of aeroplanes being loaded onto them.  One of the photos I have is of the AWM's Albatros being loaded onto one!  When I worked at the AWM they were restoring theirs, and we worked closely together to achieve this.  They obtained drawings for the tray, which neither of our vehicles still had.  I am not sure if the drawings are available from the AWM, but I have often wondered, and I could ask if anyone is interested.  Mine has the cab, although it is very rotten and rusty, as would be expected from a 100 year old vehicle.  A good percentage of the cab is timber, so it is a miracle that it has survived!
