Very nice engine.

It would be great to see it outside the model... maybe for an overhaul?! In a small diorama!?

Just pls don't bury it in the fuselage.

Cheers

Hello, Jacek,

I just found your thread. Excellent work on the Albatros, as many have said here. I have one to build, and I really enjoy learning about your methods on this build. Good luck with the rest of your project!  :)
Cheers!

Jacek,
Looking really good so far. Your pre-shading will pleasantly surprise you if you apply very light coats of the final finish over top, and stop short of full coverage. Very nice work so far on one, if not my absolute number one favorite subject. Looking forward to following your progress.
Cheers,
Lance

  Jacek,
Very interesting preshading technique my friend. I have no doubts the final finish will be nothing short of awesome.

Interesting approach to the pre shading. It makes sense. Looking forward to the next update.

I'm anxious to see how the wings come out with your preshading technique,
Jacek.  An interesting way of going about it.  Looking forward to the next update.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Very nice preshading, Jacek!  I'm really looking forward to seeing how it looks with paint over it.
Cheers,
Bud

I painted Humbrol 65 light blue. Not much to seen in the photo  :'(
I wonder if there's much visible preshading ?

Jacek.

Lately I've been very busy working professional and just now saw your relationship with the construction of this beautiful aircraft.
What you you show looks great.

Jacek, in my opinon the shading is too much emphasized. If I were you I would apply some more thin layers of RLM65.

I agree Jacek, another light coat (or two) will do wonders, just take it a very light bit at a time. I use a dark grey normally, spray it exactly as you have, and the light undersides normally need at least two shots, sometimes three of the light blue or CDL.
