Gave the Hun a right old kick in the pants!! Hi all, hope the gang from the Aerodrome and ww1 in the air forum all show up. We should advertise this on hyperscale and britmodeller also. Has anyone told WNW that this site has started, if not, then tell Jamo to let them know. OK, about me. Most of you may already have come across my rather infrequent posts, due mainly to my excedeingly limited hobby time, and also due to a dire lack of computer knowledge. Been building kits since Jesus was a kid, done damn near all the airfix kits, all the early Revell and Esci WW1 kits, and am now enjoying the Roden, Eduard, and WNW stables. I am a Yorkshireman born and bred, but now live in the USA, in Rhode Island. For a living, I fix cars and boats. Whenever possible, I disappear up into the Maine woods camping, the further away from civilisation the better. I also enjoy scuba diving, horse riding, boating, beaches, trying for my pilots ticket, and walking the dog. His tally so far is 6 squirrels, 4 rabbits, countless field mice, 2 seagulls, and flushed a deer. He has also been skunked once. Luckily, no porcupines yet. Projects in hand include two Great Lakes Ore boats, each one in HO scale, 74 inches long, a Revell Gato sub in 1/72, a Revell S-100 boat in 1/72, WNW LVG C6, WNW Brisfit, ( converting to a mark 4 ) about to order a Gotha, RE8, and FE2. Must admit, I do like 1/32 scale now. I was a diehard 1/48 fan for most things, and 1/72 for the larger stuff, but as the eyes get older, the larger 1/32 is SOOO much easier to see. And also I find that I do have the space to display the finished kit. This is also helped by my increadibly slow output. Oh, yes, I also build the occational dinosaur too. So, this is a bit about me. BTW, I can also be very direct, and I do not subscribe to political correctness, so if you ask for an opinion, I will tell you what I think. uncensored. But polite. I am British, afterall.
