technically, it's a table to build my little airplanes. i've not got my workshop set up yet (moved house just before COVID-19) and don't have any paint yet.

however, after receiving the bad news about WNW, i went on a FOMO WNW panic buying spree:

Clerget Camel (Barker, technically this was before the bad news, but after COVID-19 started)
BR.1 Camel (Tich Rochford, probably)
Ship's Camel (first carrier airstrike)
Early D.VII (Von Hantlemann)
Snipe (Barker again)
Pfalz Flying Circus 2 (Berthold)
Tripe (Collishaw)
D.VII (Goering, to be assigned to Loewenhardt)
Junkers D.1 (the postwar Sachsenberg/Osterkamp ship)
GOTHA UWD (only one option)
Halberstadt Cl.II (early) (the fancy red one)
Halbertsadt, Re.8 duellists (probably Pithey and Rhodes for the Re.8, but the story of the boxed markings for both ships is pretty compelling).

only things left on my wish list (aside from the ones that were in development) would be a few more Tripes (Little, Black Flight, but i'll go with Roden and fix the fuselage) and 3 OAW Fokkers. so basically, regardless of whether someone buys the molds and repops, i'm set for the next 20 years or so.

all from internet retailers (HLJ, Kitlinx, Hannant's etc). so yeah. i'm the reason you can't find the kit you wanted. sorry.

I did some panic bying too.

From Hannants:
Camel Clerget (Barker)

From Modelbau König:
Camel BR1 (Collishaw)
Albatros "Black Beautys" (will propably buy Pheons Jasta 5 sheet for this)
Pfalz XII
Hannover Cl.II
Hansa-Brandenburg W.12

And while the wallet was open I accidentally ordered an Ansaldo from Aviattic.

This will last me long into my next life.

nice catches, Bjarne!

my stash will only last 20 years or so, because more and more my work is morphing into send a technician, monitor things over skype chat. so technically, my client and my tech won't know if i'm airbrushing in my underwear while i work...

sorry to hear about the tumors. keep fighting. i think most of us have stashes that will outlive us. mine's practically a fleet in being. it's like what Umberto Ecco said when asked why he had more books than he could read in ten lifetimes: it's about having choices for how to spend the time you've got.

Thanks Jeff and Borsos
Spoke to the doctor yesterday and one tumor seems to be growing so I have to take moore pills.
The medicine cost is now 2600€ monthly!!! But thankfully I only have to pay 200€ a year.

And by that i hope we can return this tread to the fun stuff.
Photos of the big haul comming shortly.  ;D

OK Bjarne, back to the fun stuff...

Kitlinx shafted me on the Junkers D.1, so even though i could barely see the screen through my tears, i was able to replace it with the Lanoe Hawker DH.2. i have the old DH.2 already, but that's the best Hawker figure i've seen. the old DH.2 will either be assigned to Wilkinson or i'll look into swapping it for something i want when the dust settles. and there's a lot of dust, what with a plague and all. 102 years after the 'Spanish' flu, go figure.

This is what a friend and I managed to "save" from Modellbau König. Will keep us busy  a couple of years.
