Eyelets installed in the upper wing.

A handy tip for my fellow bucklers! Use a piece of tamiya tape folded back on itself to create a finger station for the weeeee eyelets. Make sure you take most of the sticky out of the tape before you load up with your precious cargo  :) This makes manoeuvring of eyelets so much easier - plus, work over a white piece of plastic card/A4 paper - helps with eyelet escapologists  ;)

Teves & Braun radiator airflow cover.
Replaced handle and rod with 0.4 brass tube. A simple upgrade that looks miles better that the 2D original.

I'm enjoying this!

Great tip Bob!  ;D  Thanks!  (That reminds me--time to order more buckles and tubes! ;)).  Nice radiator upgrade.  Looking forward to seeing this one put together.  :)

Regards,

Bob

Thank you for the handy tip for handling wee parts, Von Bob.  Hopefully that
will cut down on the escapees!  You are right that the brass tube looks much
better on the radiator.  Simple upgrade, but much better.  You are just whizzing
along now...won't be long before she's done, Von Lightning.  ;) ;D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

I second that tip!

What I do sometimes is twist the eyelets on a piece of wire, and keep them on the wire until I need to use them...

Hello Bob:

Looking good.  I really like the wheels.  I ordered a set for my Eindecker.  The radiator handle adds a nice touch of class to the build and the tape tip is nice as well.  My problem is when they launch out of the tweezers into the netherworld!
Onward to the finished product.  Looking forward to seeing "Up the Pfalz" at a theater near me!

Best

Mark

Your photos are getting me all excited Oberleutnant Buckles.
