Hi all,
I have a question about a military cemetery near Ypres (Flanders – Belgium). It is called “Aeroplane Cemetery” and is located 3,5km north east of Ypres. It was formerly called “New Cemetery, Frezenberg” but, as a little later a British airplane crashed in it, not far from where the Cross of Sacrifice is standing now, it was given the present name.
I would be glad to know which plane it was, and the pilot who crashed.
Has someone an idea? Thank you!
