I'm from Long Island, New York. Ive been a WWI aircraft fan from the days of the Aurora 1/48th kits were first issued back in the 50's. I prefer 1/48th models due to room considerations but would build bigger if the right a/c were kitted.

Welcome aboard, FP.  So glad you found us.  1/48 is my scale of choice, also, although I do have 5 WNW kits waiting in the stash for my eyes to fail.

Well Chris First I would have to say the Cutriss Jenny JN-4, then a Liberty DH-4.

I do remember the excellent information you posted from the past on the Jenny, great stuff too. I hope you do get a chance to build that one in 1/32 scale. Have thought about trying a Jenny as a scratch build project? That would surely be awesome.

A Canuck would certainly please me but as it hasn't appeared from Roden in the past, it's not likely to happen in the future, what with their reported scaled down commitment to 1:32 scale. As for WnW, my impression is that as it was primarily used as a trainer during the war, we're not apt to see it released from them either. I hope I'm proved wrong.

Although I'm on the Island now I was born and rasied in the Bronx. Throgs Neck area....Revere Ave. Went to school off of Castle Hill and Zarega Ave.
