Eduard Fokker DV,II(MAG)
« on: April 30, 2012, 02:22:24 AM »
Here we go wish me luck  :) my second bash at a eduard kit, any glaring errors please feel free to point a total noob in the right direction.

up to date i have built the engine and had a bash at trying to do that laminated effect on the propeller but not too sure about the result!(got four with the kit so i thought it was worth a try)

p.s.sorry for the poor photos - cameras not up to much.

cheers

Looks great Michael, especially the prop, very effective :)

Another one in my stash, there's going to be loads of build threads of kits waiting for me to do, for reference.  Looking forward to seeing the rest of this build Michael, superb so far....

Lovely work Michael, as the masters above have indicated ;)
Engine looks used and the prop is very effective!
With your photo's, the camera doesn't appear to be focusing on the engine or prop but perhaps the actual shadow (which is sharp compared to the subject)?
The photo of the kit is good  - also seems to be focused on a reflection?

A very good start Michael, the engine looks excellent as does the propeller, I'm looking forward to seeing more progress photos.

Your engine has a nice 'used' look about it which always appeals to me. Nice job on the laminated prop too. The smaller they are, the harder they must be to do, but you've made it look easy.

Cheers,

Chris

Great job on the engine and prop, Michael.  I've seen what you can do with a Week End Edition kit.  I know this one will be equally brilliant.
Cheers,
