   Rick'
She's looking grand my old friend. Love your shade of PC10.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Thank you Gregory. I am still not sure if this is PC 10 or 12  8) All I know is WNW gives both as options listing brown as the color but saying PC 10/12 in all directions. I am in the green shift school normally for PC 10. That being said I have always heard, and surviving samples seem to verify, that the tripes were of the Chocolate variety! So.... when I get around to building an SE5a, look for something a little more Olive brown/green. RLM 81 is looking better and better Willi :-)

Nice work. The PC10 is looking good - bit brown, bit green - just as the debate has always been!!!

Steve

Thanks Steve, I appreciate your comment. The brown is very predominant in this one, see my response to Gregory about my next PC 10 venture.... :-X

That's looking very nice, Rags.  I like the H 10 + H 186 mix, mate.  I was looking at following the instructions and using H 98, but the last couple of tins I bought lacked depth of colour and had a real greyish tint, whereas your mix looks very good.

Cheers.

Dal.

Dal, thanks for the comments. I have very limited access to Humbrol without ordering on line. My rural local Hobby Shop happened to have the 2 colors I used so.... the mix got me where I felt comfortable with the color  :D

Nice to see her all buttoned up Rick. Your coaming fits like a glove.

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the comment. The coaming is even tighter now, as it was just sitting in place for the photos. I have now glued it in place  8)

Looking good Rick! Watch that filled seam at the rear of the fuselage where it butts up against the tail as it tried my patience. I thought I had it nice and smooth but the first coat of paint told me differently.

Cheers,

Chris

Thanks Gregory, and yes the Xtra color paints are great. Smooth finish when airbrushed and pre glossed for decal application  :)

Beautiful job in the engine, Rick.  A very realistically grimy rotary.
Cheers,
Bud

Your engine looks super Rick. I'm a big fan of rotaries as those cylinder fins are a great canvas for oily, grimy washes, and dry brushed highlights.

Thanks Bud,
The engine is really nice for a kit engine! Just for the record I used Valejo Steel and washes of Oils, ( black and burnt sienna mix), to get the Oily finish.
