WNW Fokker DVII OAW

Finally finished & surprisingly a bit of a struggle for me, mainly surounding mounting the top wing. Not sure what I did wrong but anyway, done now. Made a rod for my own back with the yellow areas by not undercoating in a white first which I would heartily recommend. I rather overdid the overspraying of the fuselage crosses but they are there. Minimal rigging on this machine, just the control surface wires & the undercart which I accomplished wih fishing line as the plastic parts are a little flexible & need some help to retain alignment. Not a patch on others displayed here but I'm relatively pleased with it. Flown by Willhelm Leusch, Jasta 19 October 1918

Thanks, the base is from Historex, IIRC it's called forest floor but they do several different versions. It's mounted on a simpe piece pf scrap timber, cut to size, stained & varnished. Simples!

Looks fine to me, Graham!
Not the easiest of kits to get together, so you have done well on this one.

Very nicely done Graham, this is a very attractive scheme you have used, the datk blue and yellow are a great combination. Congratulations on producing a beautiful model.
