WNW LVG.CVI Eleynor
« on: April 08, 2013, 07:06:58 AM »
Okay folks, it's finally finished.  I took some pictures of it on the old set of the "Red Pony".  A horrible movie but the set was still useful.

Some of the 'white grass' has gone and there is a real sense of spring in the air.

You can see the Doug Craner prop.  I went over it with a very thin wash of Future and Tamiya orange.  I am happy with it and will order more from him.  Great service, reasonable price and outstanding product.

You can see the flare rack and a bit of the "office".

I am calling this one finished.

Thanks for all the comments and scoping it out during the build.

Best

Mark

An outstanding build Mark, the completed model looks superb and the wood fuselage is very realistic, congratulations and well done, this is a real winner.

Simply stunning, Mark!  You really nailed the wood grain and that prop is just the icing on the cake.

Hello Lance:

Thanks for stopping by and scoping it out, I appreciate your comments, always welcome.  I am not going to do much with HC Camel, other than build it, a little, and very little, work in the cockpit.  I just want a representative Camel on the shelf to go with the other Sopwith a/c I have.

Stay tuned.
