  Not yet....Im not your typical modeler. I really enjoy building but then I will be using them for war gaming...so both will be from the same jasta and have a pilot in the seat... I wont be doing the cockpit details beyond OOB. I have picked up alot of tips from all the builds on your site.

Sounds like an interesting concept Len, and building these kits OOB will give you an excellent model, the detail of these kits is remarkable. What pilot figures are you going to use to be seated in the cockpit.

  I have 4 of their other DVII kits.....havent started any yet though. Right now I am building 4 of the Hobbycraft Spad XIII kits for the 27th Aero Squadron. I use PJ Productions pilots in the planes.

Yes the Salmson looks great! I had a DUH moment recently. Is the engine a radial or am I mistaken and just a closely cowled rotary?

the Salmson 2-a2 had one of the first no rotary radial engines a Swiss design by Canton-Unné

It was a liquid cooled radial.  Self starting to boot.  It was a big aircraft and the pilot sat up front.

It will be neat to get one when they are realeased.
