Having already built a Bristol and a 9a I won't be rushing to make another anytime soon...

...or so I thought.

Salmon does look something else and I am tempted by lo on the d.viif schemes as well.

Thank you James!

Did I see right, a Nieuport-profile by Ronny Bar? What could that mean? I mean, could it mean anything at all?

Besides I love to see WNW develop into the Silver Wings-direction! Would like to see an Airco DH 9 with "the other" nose too:

Wingnut Wings have a close relationship with Ronny Bar (kinda obviously) and I think they were selling his prints 'on behalf'. You can see them on his facebook page here:

I bought one for the BE2c 'early' which was gorgeous

Here are some better images of the Fokker DVIIF markings options. The WNW website will have all this up in the next few days

And here are the markings on the new decal set 30010 for the Fokker DVIIF

The shield and crest on von Hantelman's aircraft was beautifully done and sold the set for me

Hello Jamo:

I will echo my sentiments and thank you for your time and effort to post these images and comment on the forum.  I wonder what "bombshell" WNW will be dropping on us this year. (Camel perhaps) Last year it was the Hannover which came out of nowhere: I wonder what it will be this year.  Like some of the others, the silver wings birds don't really interest me a whole lot unelss of course there is a post war USMC marking for the NINACK.

Looking forward to the DVII.F and the Salmson though.  I like all their stuff.

Thanks again

Mark

Thanks very much Jamo for your very comprehensive review of the latest Wingnut news, this information will be of great interest to a lot of the members.

The Ninak and Brisfit don't interest me at all, but the Salmson has been ear marked, it looks like a very nice kit.

I think most members where expecting a surprise release over the weekend, something totally out of the hat, I guess we will have to wait until the usual Christmas onslaught of new kits.

Yeh, this time a Roland C.II, hopefully... (at least it's on my wish list for Santa!)

Now that we have DVII F, will we see SE5a Viper?

It's funny isn't it there's us hanging on their every announcement, spending hundreds of pounds on kits and so forth and there it is all happening in a tent in a field going almost unnoticed.

I was expecting marble pillars, dancing girls, trained lions the works.

A Roland C.II would also be very interesting.

But here's another thought..................,
Ray Rimell's newest Data File No. 157 "Halberstadt C.II at war!" has inside drawings
in scale1/32!!
I think he is better informed about the plans of Wingnut Wings as we.
Maybe there will "coming soon" a WNW C.II - but possibly a Halberstadt?
But this is just wishful thinking from me.

Hmmmm . . . I sure could've used those extended exhaust pipes on my recent McKeever Brisfit build.

. . . I was expecting marble pillars, dancing girls, trained lions the works.

Well, I was thinking of picking up the Salmson but dancing girls sound even more enticing as a future release.  ;D

Cheers,

Chris

You can have it good; You can have it fast; you can have it cheap. Pick any two, but all three are impossible.

I wasnt really expecting a surprise release myself but was really hoping we might hear more about long term or future releases. I think there are only three on the list now? (Salmson, EI, EIV) aside from the DVIIF and the silver wings but those are just mods of existing kit with maybe a new sprue and decals? And I think the EI and EIV have been on the list for like a couple years?

That is the fewest I think they have had announced for future release since they burst on the scene but maybe they are keeping future plans quiet (like the Hannover was)?

And yes, please bring on the Halb CLII (and CLIV while they are at it lol)

so... what's on the F2's sprue? a connecting pipe to the auxiliary radiator, the radiator itself and a new instrument panel 2 types of extended exhausts a new cowling a spare wheel (metal cover?? the resolution is not high enough to see this) a new radiator shutter with narrower louvres (amazing piece of injection mould technology WNW!) an enlarged rudder and a higher tail bumper. and last a connecting piece (tube for the radiator??) unfortunately no slats nor a modified top wing. i hope WNW will also market the sprue as a separate item like the armament or engine choices

I'm still thinkin that the Halberstadt CL.III will be the next WNW surprise release.
