Hello from the Great Barrier Reef
« on: April 26, 2012, 09:28:33 AM »
Hello all

joined a few days ago before I went of on a work trip, so a bit late with the introduction.
Been modelling since the '50's, so that makes me one of the new boys, never did get into carving wood.

Have always loved WW1 subjects, but not a great completion rate of late, even though i'm semi retired, I have collected magazines like Windsock from Issue 1 Vol 1, and all the Datafiles, plus all of the old Profile series.

I live in Townsville in North Queensland, and live about 100 yds from the Coral Sea

G'day Graeme and welcome.

Spent a little time at Townsville during my Army days, from what I can remember it was hot, hot, hot. Living as close as you do to the sea would more than make up for that!!

Hello Graeme and welcome to the forum, great to see you here. You certainly live in a beautiful part of the country, went up there a few times during my Air force career and loved what I saw. Looking forward to seeing you post some of your work here soon.
