The interior and engine look fantastic Nigel! I am going to keep up with the GB entries better than I have been.

Well, here I am the best part of three weeks later with a bit of an update. This one has been fighting me all the way plus I have been paralyzed with indecision over how to do the weathering. I spent far too many hours poring over photos of Eindeckers to decide how to weather this and paint some of the details. Plus a few issues which meant stripping and repainting some parts. I have finally got back on track and have most of the components ready for decalling with Aviattic decals. Here's a phot of a few of the bits so far:

Hopefully things will move a bit more quickly once I start the decalling........

Looking very nice Nigel  8)

What oil brushers/paints are you using for the staining?
There cannot be a crisis today, my schedule is full

Thanks!

What oil brushers/paints are you using for the staining?
It's two layers of Tamiya brown panel liner to build up the basic staining then a final layer using a MIG Starship Filth oilbrusher to create some more subtle streaking and add a bit of density in places. Once the decals are on I will tweak the staining further with the Starship Filth oilbrusher - it's a great browny/grey oily colour.

Well, Nigel - it's good to see you aren't rushing things  ;) Replicating the staining on Eindeckers seems like a science in itself. The under-coating to the Aviattic decals looks well done and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all works out down the road.
Cheers!
