Nieuport IV - scratch 1:72
« on: April 04, 2026, 08:28:14 PM »
Hello my dear Fellowship ;D
Thank you very much for your accepatation of my previous work.
At this time i will show you next plane that I have made from scratch. Only engine was from 3D print. Every single element was made from scratch.
Nieuport plane was built according to cardmodel from Answer designer studio from Poland.
This exact plane was fighting against Austro- Hungarian forces nearby Łuck ( former polish lands - now Ukraine ) in 1914 with Third Korp. AVIA OTRYAD.
I hope you will enjoy.

I, for one, certainly do enjoy.
That's another cracking model Kamil. Unusual undercarriage as well which I hadn't spotted on previous versions of the Nieuport IV I've seen

Lovely model Kamil, and the lack of tail skid on the Nieuport monoplanes is new to me too.
I would love to see more!

Thanks for the progress shots. It's always fascinating to watch a model come together in a sequence like that and, as Nigel says, some superb precision modelling on show. May I ask how you produced the rivets on the cowl?

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul
Rivets was made from special decal from Quinta Studio.  Set of those decals was specified for 1:32 scale. Rivets for 1:72 were to small
