RWD-13 SP-BFM (1/72, RS Models)
« on: March 08, 2026, 03:36:43 AM »
And the second RWD-13 to my collection. A peculiar aircraft with Polish civilian code SP-BFM which was sold to Palestine and was used by the Jewish company Aviron throughout WW2. The pecularity is that it was not registered with their codes and was photographed in June 1943 still bearing the original markings together with a RWD-8 - probably the only two aircraft in the world bearing the Polish codes during the hard time when Poland was erased from the map by Germany and Soviet Union.

Decals were printed by my good friend Paweł Sarna and the engine is a 3D print from fpw models.

I rather like the finish you've achieved and the exposed engine looks terrific. Lovely work Prze!

Such a pretty aeroplane. I love the civilian scheme and the exposed engine adds a nice touch of interest  8)

Great job Prze
