Very nice, I can't wait to get this on the SIG table at shows. You know how we like a diorama..... ;)

Splendid work with the figures Paul. Very realistic poses with the weight bearing and stride.

Thank you gents.  ;D

Final details (helmets, belts, goggles etc) were all added using Duro putty and then it was time to break out the paintbrushes

And here is the final vignette in all it's glory -

There are a few things which I would like to have changed, but given this was essentially a model ready for the bin I'm pretty happy with teh overall look of the completed model and it's great to be able to display the LVG again (which is one of my better models)  ;)

Onto the next one

I would say the original disaster was a blessing in disguise. Surely this is a better result. Brilliant job.

Thanks Alan.
It certainly looks different on the (now securely fixed) shelf  ;)

Love it! I agree with Alan, the vignette is better than the original, so it was a good thing that shelf collapsed..... ;) ;D The figures are excellent, they really tell the story and it's amazing that you got so much detail into the painting in this small scale. The setting is ecxellent, I like the way the mud has come over the wing. Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh!

Certainly made a nice change from and 'airfield' style base with all that brown ;D
(I do have another 'crash' scene in mind for later in the year, but I'll build the model to display that way from the start rather than drop something on it and work it out from there)  ;)

It's admirable how you've turned a disaster around 180 degrees.

Very creative, well thought out, and well executed!
