The D-9 has been primed with a Testors Grey Primer. All looks good to proceed with further painting:

and...it is highly likely that yet another Fw is added: Eduard Fw190 A-5.

Nice to see the 'standard' version added to this grouping
I was always a fan of the elegant 'stretched' wings and fuselage, but as I've got older the squat pugnacious lines of the original 190 appeal more and more. Not sure what that says, but I'm sure a psychologist could have some fun with it ::)

That's not as Odd as it sounds...at least to Me  8) This one proved to be a fairly straight forward build so far!

Thanks Nigel! I am going to California for the Christmas Holiday and won't be back until the 30th! So No more work until then.

Build Number (3) is now primed. When I get back I will focus on bringing the DML Ta 152 up to speed!

Great work on those, dear Focke-man :-)
I remember building the Dragon Ta152 - it was a horror of terrible fitting... Good luck!

You were absolutely right about the Ta! It took quite a bit of work to get the basics together. I did manage to modify the engine to make it fit with the engine panels left closed. It's not perfect but it will do! Now all three are primed and have some MRP white Aluminum applied prior to painting. Chipping fluid has been used over the Aluminum.

It's quite neat to see the evolution of the type laid out like this. Very cool!

Thanks Zac! Here is a recap of My thoughts on building the IBG D-9:
1. Study the Directions carefully!
2. Make yourself aware of all of the plastic and PE parts and How they Interact in assembly!
3.Once you have done the above start to Carefully assemble the parts per instructions. BE PRECISE in assembly.
4. TEST FIT FREQUENTLY!! I can't emphasize this enough!
5. When you think you have it all lined up, TEST FIT AGAIN  8)
The kit really is well designed and I am convinced things would have been easier had I known to follow My advice in advance!

I haven't done much work on Models this past week. I did get a New Airbrush, ( H&S evolution 2024), compressor, and quick disconnect fittings  8)
So a couple of days ago I did a little bit of practice work with the New Airbrush. works great but I still shake  ::)

Very cool builds. You'd think a good H&S airbrush would come with an anti shake compensator. Geez. I've only got the one eye so I paint my thumb a lot - nope no one eye compensator either.

;) I have begun to apply color to all three. The Two Fw190's have a base of MRP- 066, RLM 76. The Ta has a base of MRP -181 BlauGrun,, a later version of RLM 76. All three have had lighter variations added, although it doesn't show as much in the photos. The D-9 also has White Aluminum on the undersides.

Very nice progress here. Good airbrushing skills on such a small scale model!
