Biplane, yes, but not WW1. I decided to build the model which came to me as a prize at one of modelling contests.
I have bought additions in the form of Eduard PE.
The cockpit assembly underway. One last thing - the wash to emphasize the details is missing yet.

That's a great start, Prezm!
Have you decided what colors she's going to have yet? I understand that she flew not only for Italy, but also for the Belgian, Swedish, and Hungarian air forces.
Cheers, Willem

Thanks, Willem.
Yes, I have chosen the scheme - the a/c 20-10 from 20. Squadriglia, 46. Gruppo, 15. Stormo from El Alamein in late 1942. The camo will have Verde Mimetico background and Giallo spots. Grigio Claro on the undersides.

It?s a really superb kit and an excellent mojo builder. The Henschel is great and the Gladbag.

Thank you for watching and kind comments.
The work on this model progresses slowly. The fuselage is closed and seams are filled, some panel lines rescribed. But I am also contemplating the idea of making the rivets imitation.
And the work on Fiat A74 engine is started. The kit parts are quite fine, though the seams crossing the cooling ribs had to be cleaned at some spots. I am planning to add the spark plugs and electric cables. The idea is to have the side cowling panels off to show the details more than just through the front.

The engine done!
Now to prepare the cowlings, thinning down the walls on the way.
