This just keeps getting better and better. That is one awesome kit. If I only built 1/32?

Thank you very much for your kind comments, Tim and Nigel.
The next update will take a little while, as I'm going on holiday for two weeks first.

Greetings
Joerg

Thank you for your nice comments, Allan, Alexis and Gary !

And when mechanics are careless, this is what it looks like 🤷

Joerg, your panel chipping and weathering overall is just just top notch.

After a short vacation, we continue with the propeller. The wood imitation was created using colored pencils on a matte base color of desert yellow. Bertl (Umlaufmotor) had previously presented this method.
The propboss is very delicate, but looks even more realistic when the holes are painted with wood paint.

The radiator and cockpit cover are easy to install, and everything fits perfectly.

The right side panel is not yet glued on, but it already fits well.

The 3D-printed radiator is extremely fine; you can see through it, so an airbrush is absolutely essential here.

Amazing prop boss detail. We overlooked that so thx for bringing that to attention. Checked with Costas if we can make those prop recesses see-thru. Of course he said, but first priority is finishing the other schemes. The Tsipourro brand is very good too ;-)

Lovely work Joerg all round. I really like the propellor, you did a great job on this. I too have started using Bertl's method as well, although I do find it quite time consuming! But the end result looks really realistic.

Joerg, this is turning out so well, it's making me afraid to start on my Jungwirth and Under kits 😁 for fear of not doing these kits justice.

Wow such an amazing build! You really are making it look beautiful  ;D

How tight are the tolerances? Is it like WNW where you have to go around scraping every surface of everything?

Thank you for your kind comments, much appreciated !

@ Warren: don?t Be afraid and start Jungwirth, this is about enjoying your hobby, not about competition -)

@ AngryJazz: the tolerantes are tight but  not like with WNW (I built a WNW Focker D VII a few years ago), you hardly need to scrape anything off, everything fits well.

Now the lower wings and machine guns are attached. You don't really need glue for this, because it snaps together, almost like Lego.
I tried to depict the rib structure on the horizontal stabiliser and vertical stabiliser. It might need to be lightened up a bit later.
