Today I was in a fairly upmarket homewares & gifts shop in Greytown, NZ (that's not far from Hood Aerodrome where TVAL are based) and saw this large Spad model. It looked rather better than some aircraft models you see in this kind of shop. Pleasantly surprised about the accuracy, no idea if it is a branded item or where it came from. The shop assistant didn't know anything about it
The price was NZD $1,460 but on a 20% sale price. That works out to about USD $680, so not inexpensive (and I didn't buy it)
As far as scale goes, it was quite large, maybe 1/16? Has anyone seen anything like this before?
