Hello from Somerset
« on: February 21, 2013, 09:14:32 AM »
Having just signed up, I think the sociable thing to do is to introduce myself. My name is Dave and I have been modelling WW1 subjects for quite a long time. My favoured scale is 1/72 although I find I am dabbling more in larger scales as well these days. I've written a fair few of reviews and articles for english based magazines over the years and am also (along with my good friend Steve Cox) founder member of the UK based Great War SIG.
I've been part of the WW1 modelling mailing list for some years (although not to active these days).
Currently building an MPM 1/72 Hansa Brandenburg W29 and also doing the classic Mark 1 conversion to the Airfix ww1 tank kit (female).
I signed up to this forum mainly I have to admit out of curiosity.
Anyway thats the introduction out of the way, apologies if it seems abrupt but I'm never that comfortable writing about myself.

Cheers

Dave
