Hi all,
Apologies for being quiet of late. Things continue to tick over well on our little forum; I am enjoying watching all of the action in our current group build. I thank you all for being such a great community here, you make mine and the moderator's lives very easy
Otherwise, industry news remains pretty quiet, with a couple of 1/32 related exceptions. Such are the ebbs and flows of our WW1 aviation modelling niche.
As for me, my modelling drought continues. Work and life have meant I haven't sniffed any glue since about August 2024, and sadly that trend looks to continue. The joys of a very busy job working for His Majesty's Royal Australian Flying Corps, and managing a sizeable property and the associated work! Accordingly, I'll continue to model vicariously through all of the builds here, haha!
It also means that I am yet to undertake some of the minor forum restructuring I mentioned in my last update. This restructure is not an urgent thing, so it will come in good time. I still always welcome inputs on how to make the forum better, so do keep them coming.
Lastly, some of you know I live in Brisbane, Australia. Right now we have a category 2 tropical cyclone bearing down on us (the first in over 50 years this far south). Tropical cyclone Alfred is due to hit landfall here as a Category 2 cyclone in the next 24-48 hours and track through Brisbane's northern suburbs, so we're all battening down the hatches. We're expecting very strong winds and a lot of rain and flash flooding. My stash should hopefully remain above the high water mark!

In any case, life continues...!
I hope you all remain well, and may the model glue remain every present in your nostrils! Model on, chaps!

Cheers,
BC
