The work on the cockpit goes in parallel

Two propellers??? I do not understand your question, honestly. Up there are two photos of one carved propeller - both sides, which will replace the kit plastic element.

Finally some progress to report. The body assembled, treating of seams at some spots is necessary and quite tricky given the surface detail. I am using the water based putty and white one shot primer - that is why the model is partly white.

Also work on engine is on, with the basic elements coloured and prepared for assembly.

Mercedes engine assembled. I plan to add the air pipes, fuel pipes and control linkages, but these after it sits on its bearers.
And some grime to subdue the glossy look.
