I love everything about this, Allan. The finish and weathering are top notch, as is the photography. Well done, sir!

Can you divulge the secret of your turned metal cowling finish? I have so many models on the 'to do' pile that have sat there for so long in fear of this aspect. I'd love to hear how you achieved it.

Thanks again all, I'm glad the little Pup actually got finished, a couple of moments I was not so sure it would.
Brad, I just found some brass screen with the correct size weave and used that as a mask. I shot aluminum then shot chrome through the screen and then blended with more silver to subtle things down.



In the future, I will use a slightly darker base color for better contrast.
