Hi from Australia
« on: January 28, 2025, 08:32:43 PM »
Hi all, I am a young modeler from Sydney Australia. I have been making models for a few years, planes when I first started then armour but now I am building a sopwith camel in 1/48 from eduard, my first ww1 subject. which so far has been very challenging and enjoyable. I have had a little look on this group and some of the builds are very impressive, I look forward to seeing more impressive models on your site.
Attached are some pics of the camel as well as previous builds.
nvm I had some issues with the file size of the images :(

Cheers,

Welcome, it's good to have a younger modeller among these (generally) older modellers! WWI subjects are great, you will get lots of advice here.

I use a hosting service (imgur) for my pics, I find it easier than trying to squeeze them down to the small size.

Hello Margret, welcome to the forum. Good luck with the Camel, although I love Eduard kits I too had a couple of difficulties with their camel but it does build into a good looking bird.

I heard that it all started when a bloke called Archie Duke shot an ostrich 'cause he was hungry!
