Looking good, NigelR! Despite your declarations about being a slow builder, you seem to have ordered up full power on this Bebe journey of yours. I'm really glad that you, Borsos, and a few others hit the ground running with this great looking kit as I intend to get started on mine this spring and am paying close attention to the pathfinders' experiences with it.

Just a quick update here. After spending many hours trying to mask the rib tapes (and making several cockups along the way), I have the main components decalled and varnished:

Weathering starts tomorrow........

Great update, Nigel ! I like the colours and the rib tapes are very precise (much better than I did). I'm already looking forward to your next update

Not for much longer..... ;)

Ready for the weekend?
Hopefully. It's going to be tight though......

Thanks Joerg, the rib tapes were a nightmare, many hours of masking and I still managed to get some overspray in a couple of places. The stuff you sent me helped in doing the top wing, for the bottom wings I just painted the curved sections by hand.

Very nice finish overall. I am keen on seeing all the parts together.

Very nice, NigelR. I like your interpretation of the exterior colors. Well done!

Thanks very much everyone, much appreciated. I am rushing to get this finished for a show at the weekend, so probably won't have time to post any more in progress shots. Hopefully some completed shots on Friday.....

The advantage of being a small country! I have 12 shows on my calendar so far this year, plus I am also going to the World Model Expo in Paris in July.

Even better, the show this weekend is in the Tank Museum at Bovington and the Great War SIG stand is located in the hall that has Little Willie, a Mark II, an FT17 and a Whippet. Great fun!
